Tropical feeling
So far, I love these trees. We planted them with rocks into a planter and they do not move. The planter gave them a bit more height as well. I love this picture even though you can't see the tree branches, you can sure see them in the beautiful reflection of the pool. We live in Northern Illinois and love to make our backyard feel like a tropical paradise, and these awesome palms helped to achieve our goal. I will probably add 2 more next year.

Extremely good value and quality
I was quite pleased with these palms. They look reasonably realistic and are easily adjusted to look full. From a couple of feet away most people think they are real. I have a room with 22' ceilings and these palms look terrific. I only wish they were available in much taller (10'-12'') sizes. A good deal.

What I expected
I’ll start off with this, it’s a fake tree. If you expect a 100% real life looking tree that’s not what you’ll get. I bought 2 of them to spruce up my pool deck and that’s exactly what these trees do. Here’s some feedback for you to consider:* the shape and quality of the palms are very nice. They are lively and full.* the branches have bendable wire underneath. You can shape them to look as you’d like. They are easy to adjust.* the bark is made from styrofoam and it is painted on the outside. Does it look real? No, but it doesn’t look horrible either. I’d say it’s a pretty good appearance overall.* the entire tree is very light. You can pick it up with 1 hand.* I didn’t want to put mine in pots so I got a 1.25”dia schedule 40 PVC pipe X 2 feet long. I drill a 2 foot hole in the dirt and hammered the pipe in. I then used strips if plywood on both sides of the pipe and hammered them down to stabilize it.* the bottom of the tree only has about 4” of steel 1” dia steel pipe sticking out. This is not enough to keep the tree stable when inserted in the PVC pipe so I used my Dewalt grinder to cut off another 5” of bark (foam). This tweak combined with adding a few layers of duct tape to the exposed metal pole did the trick. The tree doesn’t move at all in the PVC pipe! I left the PVC pipe sticking up above the ground about 4” and then covered it all with landscaping rocks so it’s totally hidden. So, because of the stabilization tweaks I needed to make I removed 1 star. Other than that I can still recommend this tree as a good purchase.

LOVE THESE PALM TREES
LOVE THESE PALM TREES FOR OUTSIDE AROUND MY POOL IN NEW ENGLAND. THEY LOOK REAL AND MOVE GRACEFULLY IN THE WIND. WE JUST PLACE THEM IN OUR SHED DURING THE WINTER AND INSTALL SPRING/SUMMER/FALL SEASON. WE HAVE 6 OF THEM AND WILL ORDER MORE FOR NEXT YEAR :-)

Decent looking but arruved damaged
They would be ok if they didnt arrive damaged. One trunk is smashed and broken exposing the white styrofoam. This makes it look horrible and fake.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
The tree itself was fine and as expected but absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!! The tree did not fit my yard / the seller did not make it clear it did not have stand so i needed to return the item. I was told by the seller it was going to cost $36.26 to return, but instead it cost over $150 through UPS( where the seller told me to go ).

Perfect for what I needed.
I used them out on my balcony so they are mainly seen from down below (I'm on the 4th floor) so the unrealistic trunk is not really an issue for me. The one issue is as other people have stated is blowing over, I resolved this by buying two planters one small cheap one $5.00 and filled it with quickset concrete and embedded the tree in it. The the other larger planter I placed the tree with small pot in it and filled with white marble chips (small white rocks). I still needed to then tie them off to the railing due to they were still blowing over. Also buy them about one foot taller than you need after shaping they loose a foot. But I love them so far!
