If You Are Looking For A Quality Webcam, This Is It
I had gone through months of searching the web for a webcam that would transmit excellent video and not cost an arm and a leg. This is it! The camera is well made and easy to setup. I like the fact that it can sit securely on the top of my monitor without falling off. So many of the cheaper units aren't designed for anything other than sitting on a table - making the video feed look like you are staring off into space and not at person you are talking to. This one's multi-position stand allows you to look staright at the camera. Video and audio quality is excellent and setup is a breeze.

Nice Cam for the price...works for Mac!
I bought this cam for use with my Mac Mini, primarily to use it with Skype. It is solidly constructed, and looks good. Hooked it up to my Mac (running Snow Leopard (OS10.6), and it worked partially. No audio, and it wasn't being recognized by Iphoto or IMovie at all. The only reason this camera got 4 stars instead of 5 was the very poor literature and Logitech support in helping me resolve this issue. I had to looks around on the web for a program that would allow me to tweak and adjust the setting on the camera- it was not provided with the disk. The disk is for PC users. Logitech needs to offer support to Mac users as well, I hope they get with the program soon and include more info for us in the future.Aside from that, once I got it up and running using the Logitech software, the camera performs flawlessly. Crystal clear video and snapshots, jitter free, and easy to upload videos to Youtube as well. I recently upgraded to OSX 10.7 Lion, and it made the migration without any issues, and works even better on my new Mac. I didn't want to spend $100 for a webcam, and I needed something with built-in audio. The audio quality is excellent with Skype, too.

I finally had to return it.
I bought three C600 webcams from Logitech for my children and myself. I have not been happy with them at all. None of them have worked all of the time and mine has been particularly bad. It would work one day and not the next. One day there would be no picture and the next no sound. Then the next day it would have neither. I tried reinstalling the software, talking to their tech people and nothing helped. Finally, one of their techs said the camera was faulty and that I should return it for a new one, but they didn't have any of that model and I would have to wait two weeks to get another one. I was not very happy about that since you can find them in many stores. Then I was told I could have a different model if I paid the difference or a refund. When I inquired about a different model they found a C600 for me and I returned the webcam. I am waiting for a new camera now.I do want to say however, that the tech people tried to be helpful and were very polite. I bought the Logitech even though it was a little more expensive because I thought it was the best brand on the market. I have been disappointed so far, but we will see when the new webcam arrives.

Excellent product for the price
I bought the C-600 for a friend who was using an old Logitech Quick Cam and bought one for myself also. Installation was smooth and easy and the software works fine. No problems. The C-600 is a big improvement over the old Quick Cam in both features and picture quality. The built-in microphone works as well as the camera. It never gives me any feedback at all. My friend often walks around her apartment while we talk so she turns up her speakers. I am able to hear her from the next room if she speaks up a bit and yet I never hear my own voice coming back to me. This is very good performance.I am using this camera with QQ IM and there are no issues with that program. The Logitech Vid video-chat software that comes with the C-600 actually produces better image quality and a larger image but QQ has a lot more messaging features.A short time after installation a software update was made available. It was a very big update, pretty much a whole new version. The new version works better but is slightly redesigned. The original had a small, vertical toolbar that placed all of the software features at your fingertips. The new version did away with that and now the features are spread out among multiple screens. This is a comparative nuisance.Camera and microphone each live up to my expectations (for the money, after rebate) so I give it a strong recommendation. Perhaps I could do better if I spent more but I am quite satisfied. This item came with a $20. mfg. rebate offer when I bought it. I did the rebate submission for each camera (one only allowed per envelope) carefully and a week or so later I got an email from Logitech informing me the submissions had been received and were being processed (13 days ago as I write this).

Logitech Webcam C60 with the November 2013 software: apuzzle
IMPORTANT! This review applies to the software Update I received today, November 18, 2013.I bought this webcam about a month ago and upon installing it I got a message saying that as of early June 2013 Logitech has discontinued support for the VID communication feature, which is one of the selling points for this model. Today I received and installed a software update which is probably the most unfriendly thing I I have ever encountered. The functionality of the webcam has completely changed and you can probably do a lot of cool things with it but there is NOTHING to tell you what they are and how to do them. If you are patient enough you get to a mysterious control panel which does nothing until you "adjust the zoom" setting but the only zoom tool on the panel refuses to be adjusted. This webcam also comes with a microphone which was working fine until today's software update disaster came. It is apparently locked but there is no obvious path to its key. This is a decent webcam, worth maybe four stars, but if you buy it with the new software prepare yourself for a long session tofamiliarize yourself with how to operate it and wish yourself "good luck".
