This was everything I needed it to be. It works perfectly and was easy to assemble and wire. I really like how well it holds together once it has been put together. I use them to make lamps and they work very well. I would recommend getting these if they are what you are looking for. I would make sure that it is wired correctly and securely before assembling it as it hold very tight.

purchased these for a custom.project but the side wiring wouldn't work in the space available. they are made well enough that I will use them on another project.

It took me longer than it probably would with someone more practiced in this area but I was able to use this to replace a lamp holder socket of the same e12 candelabra style in my favorite study lamp that had begun to crumble.These didn't come with any instructions so I removed 1 star because I had to spend a good amount time searching and watching several youtube videos to be confident enough that I was hooking it up correctly (as this is a less common lamp holder) - but otherwise these seem to be pretty solidEverything has been hooked back up and it is working as expected, so for now I am happy -- I will update my review if I become unsatisfied for any reason.

I work on electronics for a living.I tried three of these, (pack of three), and was using a good quality new warm led WITH THEM.none of them made proper contact, and in the end, the last one shorted the LED.Flimsy, bad way to make connections. Once screwed together, you cannot get back inside them either.The screw terminals are forever inside in a locked threaded housing. Hence, my blowing out three of them.The issue seems to be with misaligned contacts. I see good feedback, so at some point these must have worked, however, I had three that were not compatible with a very expensive new LED bulb purchased here on Amazon.Now, I'm out the money for the LED, and I have three wasted sockets.Stay away,.Terrible design.

The product is good and does as described. A rubber gromet where tire exits would have been nice. As seller warned make sure all is assembled and correct before tightening two halves as you can't get them apart afterwards.

Worked perfect

1 of 3 worked correctly. One got stuck when screwed together and one broke when twisted with very little pressure.Would not buy again.
