definitely worth the $$$
Hey...It's eternabond...the best at what it's for. I've used this stuff for a lot of different things. Always sticks like craaazy and is very durable. Don't use it on something you may remove later...it's VERY DIFFICULT to remove. 5yrs later, wash it off and it still works and looks goodIT'S VERY PRICEY, but I don't mind paying for things that actually work!

Slide out repair
This is oddly one of the most difficult topics to research. Answers are on each extreme as to whether to use this or not. After weeks of trying to figure out the best path to repair my slide out, I decided to check with a local dealer. Specifically a repair technician. He said eterna bond was a great product that they also use. Not shown in recommended to buy is the eterna cleaner and primer. I'm heading to the campground in a few days so I asked for a plan B. He suggested an automotive degreaser that they had on the shelf. I asked him if they would use this in place of the first recommendation. Without hesitation, he said yes. He told me to clean it up and allow it to evaporate.I should point out that I repaired a slide out seam on the outside edge. The factory started to wear out from rubbing on the screw heads.I asked if it would be best to remove the old or if I can stick it over the existing. He said it's ok to go over the top if it's wider than the factory tape.I cleaned it up nicely then started to stick the tape. Yes, it's extremely sticky and you can't unstick it so go slow and be careful. Important to work out the evenness and bubbles as you go, and make sure to press it thoroughly as you go. Images posted.I then asked if I should caulk by where the fascia meets, and he said it's a good idea. Then I asked about caulking the inside, towards the camper. He said it's a good idea but not completely necessary. If you do, use some soapy water and your finger to smoothen it out so it doesn't catch on the rubber gasket.Works great. Takes some finesse to put it down but can easily be done if you take your time.Don't use self leveling caulk. That's for sure. This particular tech highly recommend what's in the picture.Only use it for what it's intended. Seam repair. Don't cover the entire roof or go around roof top openings.Good luck and stay dry!

Works great!
Best RV roof sealant available in my opinion. I have had it on coaches for over 10 years with no additional maintenance required. Just do not think you can pull it back up and re-position it. It sticks!!

great product
This is some good stuff. I lost a small area of roof on my Winnie class A. with products from Amazon I completely repaired it for a fraction of what the dealer wanted. I can't say enough how glad they make these quality products.

Stick hard
It glue easy and quick, need to be careful to apply, once placed it's hard to move, it's supposed to stick hard, to remove use a heat gun!

Versatile and very effective water proofer
Used on my pop up tent trailer "pre-emptively" to prevent any future leaks after seeing it mentioned in reviews from other pop up and trailer chat rooms. VERY sticky and thick. VERY difficult to remove but great for "where you want it." I've found more uses for it than just for recreational equipment, too, like repairing ripped tarps and cracked snowblower housings, small plastic pools and liners, covering the edges of metal joints on swing sets so my grand kids' hands don't get cuts, etc.

Much better than caulk.
Works much better than caulk. Easy to apply and doesn't need to be replaced every year like caulk.
