The design makes it easier than several competitors that I’ve bought to take apart and clean. Otherwise, it does the job and works similarly.

Used for cooking pancakes for 70 . This was awesome in keeping size and location on grill uniform . It was easy to fill with its wide top and did not dribble . Cleaning was no problem.

I love this pancake batter dispenser, although it certainly has its drawbacks. It does what is says it does (dispenses pancake batter) pretty well. I primarily only make regular pancakes so this tool is great.Some drawbacks I've experienced with this are:Fragile - just had wash this unit. Someone in my family washed mine and the handle broke off. Avoid using the dishwasher if you can.Chocolate chips get stuck and/or sink to the bottom so they won't be evenly distributed (if you add chocolate chips to your pancakes)The rubber/silicone nozzle can tear easily so be gentle when removing for cleaningControl can be an issue at first - once you get used to the consistency and effort, you can get great resultsAlso, mix your batter in a different bowl and pour it into the dispenser, otherwise the nozzle will fill with an unmixed batter and mess up your first batch.I've bought this three times and still recommend it!

I bought this for pancakes, and it does a good job. I just used it for waffles and that's fantastic. I'm more inclined to cook waffles now that I have this gadget to make it easier.

Bought this for my catering company to mass produce pancakes and it works amazingly well. So easy to use and clean up when you’re done with it. The size is just right to fit in your hand and to not take a lot of space on your preparation area. Has a firm grip to precisely place your mix anywhere you need it.

Reordered after 3 years of use. We make pancakes every weekend so had plenty of use. To help its longevity, recommend handwashing.

[Update] It lasted exactly 13 months. I used this maybe 1-2 times a month and LOVED it, until yesterday when it finally broke on me. Long story short: DO NOT USE WITHOUT THE LID. Looks like the internal spring is way overpowered for the thickness of the plastic without the lid in place. The lid actually seems to provide counter-resistance to the spring when you squeeze the handle. I was in a hurry yesterday and wanted my batter to flow faster, so I used it without the lid, thinking the faster air displacement would accelerate filling my cupcake cups, but then I heard: CRAAAACK. It split right where the spring is. The dispenser alone doesn’t have the strength to resist breaking under pressure from the spring, it needs the extra resistor from the lid to have structural integrity, otherwise it fails on you. Even when you’re hand-washing it, do not squeeze the handle, except gently to remove and replace the silicone valve. I’ll probably buy a new one and never make this mistake again.[Original review] I used to hate making pancakes. Dealing with a ladle to distribute the batter was messy and hard to control. This dispenser made the job SO much neater. I especially love using it for cupcakes! I have a chocolate cupcake batter that is particularly runny and hard to dispense neatly into cups, and this dispenser made that job infinitely easier, as well. And I haven't tried this yet, but I see no reason why I can't use this to make a funnel cake, too! I'm considering getting a second one so I can swirl different flavors together.The only downside is that soapy water gets inside the handle when you're washing it and it's hard to ensure it rinses and drains properly, but it's otherwise a great product.
