Perfect
Easy to follow instructions, most everything you should need is included. Some aspects of the build are wonky but all and all manageable. Fan works very well and the light is bright and adequate for my needs. It casts a yellow light. Love its small size, made my room look bigger.

Perfect for our small bedroom
I picked this fan because I liked the streamlined style; the size was right for our small room; and I wanted the pull strings instead of the remote-- just to keep it simple. We installed it today. Took less than an hour and definitely helped to have to 2 people. Directions were clear and all the parts were included. I appreciate that the low setting for the fan creates a gentle breeze and isn't so fast that it will keep me up at night or dry my eyes out. The high setting moves plenty of air even though it's smallish for a ceiling fan. The fan is quiet. The light is pleasant. Parts are high quality. Very happy with this purchase, so far.

Heavy, powerful
This is an attractive fan. It’s also the first ceiling fan i’ve ever installed. It is much heavier than the fan I was replacing so I’m a bit scared it’s going to rip the outlet box from the ceiling. It’s rated for a fan but apparently has never been tested before considering how light the existing fan was. It will take some time before I trust walking under it. Maybe they need to be this heavy to put out such strong wind. No complaints there. I can’t imagine ever needing the high setting, as it is medium might blow papers off your desk. The included bulbs are a sickly yellow hue so I ordered daylight LEDs. They’re not an abundantly common size and wattage and I ended up paying $16 for the replacement bulbs to get some in daylight instead of the gross orange yellow the included bulbs put out, $16 adds 20% to the fan cost. Kind of annoying.During installation I discovered that outlet box in my ceiling isn’t perfectly level, it’s off by a mm or two. I originally put the mounting bracket level so one side wasn’t quite as tight as the other and the fan made a huge racket. So I took the canopy back off and tightened that side, the down rod allows for the slightly un-level installation and it’s pretty quiet now.Nothing to do with Honeywell but a word of caution to others, if you’re replacing a fan with a larger canopy make sure you know what’s under the existing canopy first. I never thought about it, luckily this covers the hole but it appears the ceiling has been painted since the old fan went up and they didn’t bother dropping the canopy when they painted so now I have a discolored circle on my ceiling. I hate painting...

Solid Design - Quiet Operation - Beautifully Balanced
Most of the ceiling fans that I've installed in my home came from Amazon and have given me good service. However I recently returned one that I ordered from Amazon because I could not control the fan and lights separately from my wall switches and it was tacky. My delay installing a ceiling fan in our smallest bedroom was that I had converted into my office. Most fans were simply too big. Fortunately my rooms have modern overhead fixture wiring in the ceiling that gives me separate wall-switch control of the light and fan. I dislike remote controls because they are easily misplaced and are, in my opinion, an unnecessary distraction. This fan model has separate, clearly labeled pull chains for the light and the fan and a reversing switch and, of course, separate wiring to control the two. This Honeywell Ocean Breeze ceiling fan could not have pleased me more. Some assembly is required. Although I've installed many ceiling fans, please be advised that it's easy to install the fan blades on the brackets wrong if you're not paying close attention. Read the instructions carefully and then read them again to make sure you get them right before hanging this fan. The only tools I needed were a Phillips screwdriver and a wire stripper. A small snag was that the included wire nuts were too small to connect the fan's stranded wire to my #14 copper wiring. Fortunately, I had larger wire nuts on hand.Needing more light than the two paltry 5-watt LED lamps included with the fan could provide, I removed the two 15-watt LED lamps from the ceiling fixture this fan replaced and installed them in this fan's light globe, which is rated for up to 60-watts. My final result is a handsome fan, right-sized for my small room. It runs quietly even on its highest speed which moves a lot of air, and is perfectly balanced without my adding compensating weights. The two 15-watt LED bulbs barely fit the globe but they provide me with good light.Aside from this fan's attractive appearance and good performance it feels solid, though not too heavy to hang comfortably on its accompanying ceiling bracket. It mounted securely on my existing ceiling fixture box. Amazon's price for this fan was better than I could find for a similar model at any of my local big box stores. I am now a fan of this fan.
